We all know that this series is completly one-sided. West indies is a weak team in the Test format. On the other hand this pitch is pace bowling friendly. We all know that australia's pace bowlers are very experienced. And it was predicted that australia's bowlers would do well on this type of pitch.
West indies could only score 143 runs in the second innings. West indies' first innings score was 253 runs . But West Indies lost all their wickets in the second innings after scoring only 143 runs . If the pitch had not been pace friendly, then perhaps we would have seen a slightly different result in the match. The match would have been more competitive.
You are right this Test match was completely one sided because West Indies is a team in Test cricket especially against fast bowling, and pitch was perfect for pace bowlers which Australia experienced quicks excel at. And we know better than Australia is much better as compare to West Indies. West Indies low scores like their second innings collapse to just 143 clearly showed they could not handle conditions or Australia excellent fast bowlers. If pitch had not favored pace so much next match likely will be much closer and more exciting.
I think the match was not one-sided to a large extent because the bowlers of both teams took advantage of the pitch and the batsmen did not score runs. Australia lost all their wickets in the first innings for just 286 runs but it should be noted that they are not a team that gets out for such a low score in Tests. Batting, West Indies lost all their wickets in the first innings for just 253 runs. The performance of the bowlers of both teams throughout the match was impressive and in that case the Australian bowlers did relatively well as a result of which West Indies could only score 143 runs in the second innings. The 133-run win was the best for Australia because they probably did not expect to win by such a huge margin. While praising the bowlers for the victory the pitch should be praised.
