As for Rodrygo, at this time his fate in Real Madrid's main squad is still in question whether he will still stay or move to another club. WWC should be an opportunity for the Brazilian winger to prove that he still deserves to be in Los Blancos' main squad, but it is very unfortunate that the player was only given a few minutes of play. and I think that after this WWC ends, Rodrygo will really change jerseys.
Rodrigo's future is still doubtful, although the new coach has come up and tried to use all of his team players, but still he (Xabi Alonso) didn't even include him in his plan for the next season. So now it's time for him to leave the club because the coach didn't even give him a chance to see his potential. Xabi Alonso is trying to utilize Valverde in the right winger position, and honestly, he (Valverde) is quite good, although he is not a natural winger but is still performing as a good player.
If Alonso really lets Rodrygo go and Valverde is made RW, it is the same as destroying the line-up. While Valverde is more suitable in the CMF position which always gives a very good contribution. I am very sure Alonso has great ambitions after seeing the contribution of young players Arda and Garcia when appearing in the FIFA Club World Cup, making the coach want to use young players as Madrid's strongest engine. In fact, Rodrygo is a very good partner for Vinicius when appearing on the field. Hopefully this news will only be a rumor and Alonso does not really do all this.
I think the rumors are getting stronger on Rodrygo future at Real Madrid, I think he is link with the English premier league team arsenal but I don't know how strong this is and besides arsenal themselves have been known for not being serious with their decision on signing a forward player but he would fit well in the style of arteta play but he is also a vital and key player with Real Madrid although he wasn't given much playing time by the previous coach, but hopefully Xabi Alonso sort out his future and stay at Real Madrid.
