Yup. I was just about to reference the same article. It seemed too good to be true lol. I assume that even if it is true, they'd have to be a way to verify ownership of the staked TON tokens and the original announcement being shared all over the place had little to no details about the verification of ownership.

I feel it was just good vibes tactics to bring back attention to TON and promote short term price growth. Lol.
