I have used such an exchange before. That will be annoying when even those highly well know exchanges are not doing something like that. I think either Luno or the shady Quidax was doing something like when I was using it but I think it was Quidax which I stopped using because of their scam conversion as they deduct significantly more fee than what is displayed.
Each update done is an increments of profit to them and imagine now that all their customers now have to use only the mobile app.
