Bookmakers still strongly believe that PSG will win this competition. But look at the difference in Madrid's odds, it's not too far from PSG. This means that Madrid still has a chance to beat PSG. In your opinion, who will advance to the final round? PSG? or Madrid? My choice is still Madrid. In terms of betting, I will choose BTTS to avoid the risk of unexpected surprises.

The bookmakers aren't actually the all knowing or all seeing eye when it comes to sport betting, I believe they give odd base on the stats they too have gathered on their own and that's why sometimes I don't follow that much when it comes to the odds given to team because like you said surprises are bound to happen and I for one would like to be in favour of those suprised when it comes although it's not certain so I just go with my mind when I place my bets.
Even the book makers are just predicting, the difference is that they don't play a stake as we do as gamblers. You are not supposed to completely depend on their odds because it has little to no influence on the result of the games so it is better you make your research and your own predictions and make the odds be an advantage because at the end of the day e all are just trying to be correct with our predictions and tha bookmakers just want to make money. This is mostly the way I approach my own betting, I don't place it base off the odds I see from the casino.
