Australia won against West Indies for the second time, when Australia were batting in the second innings, I understood there and West Indies could not chase it as often West Indies middle order often got confused when they lost early wickets.
West Indies top order is good but on top the Australia's bowlers are massive and at the end of the day, the results are in front of us. Alex Carey was the player of the game, he played average, nothing surprising but still looking at the pitch condition and on the other team's effort, so he deserved it.
Firstly, this pitch was pace bowling friendly. Very few players have the ability to bat well against the Australian bowlers on a pace bowling friendly pitch. It was very difficult to deal with bowlers like Starc, Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon and Pat Cummins. If the pitch had suddenly become spin friendly, maybe the match would have become more competitive.
After Australia gave a target of 250+, I was sure that Australia was going to win the second match as well as the first match. But I did not think that the margin of victory would be so big. West Indies managed to score 253 runs in the first innings. But in the second innings, the team scored only 143 runs. West Indies lost by a big margin of 133 runs.
