Problem is that you believed that bitcoin and fiat money would be having same goal.
Not only they don't have same goal, but they are not even headed to same direction. They are so different from each other that there's no comparison.
BTC doesn't have a power to save any country from the event of their fiat collapsing, because btc and fiat money don't have same kind of game theory when it comes to economics. Fiat money is designed for spending, so it wouldn't make sense for it to rise in value. While scarcity of bitcoin doesn't really make it a "currency" that would be in any way stimulate growth. Nothing that you would rather hoard would do that.
