Therefore, always verify you’re on the official website, don’t just assume , verify to the last character of the URL..
That has saved me a lot of times. I don't neglect checking url if I've it spelt out or in my head. Anyway, I tried reaching the genuine site but I got an error message "a client–side exception has occurred" ish. I don't know what the cause could be. Perhaps that difficulty in accessibility may even make it easier for unsuspecting victims to log into the phishing site without realizing it.
If you don't know, check with coinmarketcap.com, coingecko.com, Google search, AI search and compare domain links given by different searching tools.
Except you know exactly what site you're looking for, you still won't be able to detect a phishing site with all that search engines or aggregator sites. This is why I ask for links from those who've been on sites they're directing me to visit. I don't just go searching them myself. In most cases, the phishing sites have better reviews and visibility than the original sites.
