Birmingham Bears Vs Durham
Durham defeated Birmingham Bears by 8 runs gap as Durham opened the first innings with 6 runs partnership but upcoming players contributed great runs especially the middle order was the main base for the target. The top order players lost wickets very early handing over the responsibility to middle over. Birmingham Bears bowlers tightened the jaws knocking out 7 players at 182 runs. Birmingham Bears struggled from the start losing early wickets at short intervals. Durham bowlers dominated the game as they successfully knocked out 6 players before a century but we can't underrate the middle order pressure control. Middle order chased the target almost 8 runs gap was left when their overs gets finished and they lost this game by 8 runs. Birmingham Bears performed well but this victory was in Durham's fate with 28 points.
In the competition of Vitality Blast Men and in North Group, Durham squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters managed to collect huge scores 182 after playing 20 overs. Will Rhodes was top scorer of this match and he played wonderful inning with collecting 51 scores after playing 36 deliveries. Graham Clark also displayed strong performance and he managed to collect 43 scores after playing 22 deliveries. Birmingham Bears squad was too close to defeat Durham squad and they missed victory by 8 scores.
