This is all very interesting. I’m not sure what to think about it. I had sort of been operating under the personal thought that this could somehow be related to mtgox. In a few weeks all the folks who got funds from mtgox will be eligible to sell and take long term capital gains. The timing to me feels like this is an American whale looking to finally cash out. I realize these coins weren’t from gox, but BTC is fungible and maybe where his new coins went is better secured. Just a thought.
