I read that Bayern Munich started to take action to get Leroy Sane back after he was sold to Galatasaray after Jamal Musiala broke his leg in the tournament. If this had happened before, they would probably have offered Sane a good contract to keep him on the team. Now Galatasaray's decision will be decisive in this matter. If Bayern Munich can get him back, they will not need to make a new transfer, but if Galatasaray does not sell him, Bayern Munich will have a high transfer fee.
What the meaning of all these? Doesn’t they have squad depth?
It is not normal for big team like Bayern Munich to rely on a single player in his position, there should be replacement for every player in a team.
Bayern Munich intentionally denied Leroy Sane a better offer to renew his contract simply because they feel like he is surplus to requirements in their squad in respect to the playing time they gave him last season, and now that they have lost Jamal Musiala for a long term injury, they are regretting letting him leave for free. Well I don’t think they should be waiting for him again because it is just like a damage control which has no use; since the transfer summer is still active, it is better they look for a replacement before it gets late for them.
