There were talks about Rodrygo going to Liverpool for after Salah replacement. He is still at Real Madrid this season, that part is guaranteed, and Salah will be at Liverpool for a while longer. But in a year or two, Liverpool could get him, and specially if they can win the title again, they could have money again. They spent 150 million on Wirtz this season, so that should tell you that they have the money specially for Rodrygo, they had one for this year, so it is not impossible.
It may not be for every season, but if they skip next season, then the year after that, they can get Rodrygo, plus he would become cheaper by then if Real Madrid is not using him. And considering Salah would probably be gone in 2 seasons, he would be an amazing replacement without a doubt.
If there is going to be planned, I believe there is going to be an official statement regarding that. I don't buy that speculation of him been bench in a row without starting the game. There was some going on other than what was is been reported. Even if there is going to be move, the club will be making some moves by now, the amount to get him a new club will worth huge amount of money unless the club is ready to cut down the release clause for any interested club.
If Anceloti is still the Manger of the club, I would have say there is going to be some difficultlies if he leavea the cub, but last season, his impact is almost not there and now it seems Xabi is figuring out another strategy and he has played 5 games unbeatable since he came to the club. He might as well as working his way for better starters, Rodrigo didn't fly out of no where, he was picked as starter perhaps this is opportunity for the new coach to try other guys that will work for him.
