It is a football match, sometimes it can be unpredictable. It is because there are many factors to determine the possibility of winning, not only about the quality of the squad. Mentality of the players, teamwork, and the effectiveness of the tactics also influence the chance of both teams in the field. Also, those favorite teams often don't play with all their main players when it is in the match like this Fifa Club World Cup. So, I'm not so surprised if those big teams were defeated by underdog teams.

For the semi-final round, I personally will choose the favorite teams (PSG and Chelsea). I think these teams won't miss the opportunity to reach the final, they will play with all their main players. When it is almost in the final round, usually all teams will focus on the match and fight all out. Also, PSG and Chelsea look like to have a bigger chance if we consider their current performance.
