Are you sure it’s an aes.dat and not an aes.json file?
As far as I can see from your post history, it looks like you are a blockchain.com user. So, I guess what you have is an aes.json file.
In this case, you won’t be able to recover your wallet without the password that was used to encrypt the aes.json file or without the seed words that were given to you when you created your blockchain.com wallet and you were asked to save it.
