Everyone talks about Lakers and such trades. I feel bad for the OKC. They've been the champs for the season.
But after that, it didn't last long and the talks and attention went through the trades that are happening now.
They're champs but the celebration didn't took long and the attention that it lingers to most fans didn't last as well.
Same thing happened with the Boston Celtics before. Bronny James' draft got more attention than their championship. Well, people are more interested in drama, and there’s a lot of unexpected trades happening right now. Just look at what the Rockets did, trading Jalen Green for KD just to go deeper into the playoffs. They also traded Cam Whitmore, and now KD will wear jersey number 7. I don’t know if that’s the reason they traded him. LOL. Then there’s the Bucks, who waived Lillard, and surely, more trades are coming.
The events that happen during the season attract more attention than the championship, people love gossip. The NBA is no longer like it used to be, no one talks about the team that won the championship for months. A few years ago, the team that won the championship would stay on the agenda for months, everyone walking on the street would know who was the champion. This has not happened in recent years, in previous years if you asked who was the champion, everyone would look up the results on the internet and answer accordingly.
When a few valuable players are traded, that becomes the whole agenda. Of course, the money that the players earn attracts a lot of attention
