My experience at the beginning of gambling, stopped and returned.
At first I wanted to gamble to see my friends playing slots, looking interesting and they won several dollars, looking interesting.

Then I tried, at first I did not play slots but tried to play roullete and I won several rounds, game after game tried to win and lose, short story when I felt my loss stopped.
And back again, but I only focused on sports betting, the beginning I won again and so on, thus until now I only gamble in one game, namely sports and I enjoy all that.

Conclusion: I gamble or return there is no pressure, influence, not to lose stress or dream, I do on my own awareness and my own will without other parties.
