It is a mockery of test cricket. The ICC need to grow a pair of balls, and prohibit Zimbabwe from playing against tier-1 test nations. What is the purpose of matches such as this one? Do we really want Brian Lara's record (made against England at St John's) broken by someone like Wiaan Mulder? I have nothing personal against Mulder. But this was one of his easiest innings. Even South African domestic cricket has better quality bowlers when compared to what he faced in this match.
I think Wiaan Mulder and the South Africa missed the golden chance to take down the record of Brain Lara in this match. He was not out and the South African team management decided to declare the innings. Had he been allowed to continue, who knows the Brain Lara record would have been broken. Mulder was not far away from the Lara's Record of 400 not out runs.
Anyways, South Africa won this test by an innings and 236 runs. This is not the end as South Africa will be playing T20 match series with Zimbabwe and we may see chances of some records being broken there as well.
