Recall that the flood started on the 4th of July, 2025, death toll is still rising, investigation is on going on missing campers in Kerr County. As at 8th 109 dead, 161 missing.
The 67 year old governor Greg Abott, has assure residents that the search will continue, with all modalities put into active use, and government will not stop until everybody is recovered.
The Texas House Speaker State Rep Dustin Burrows, appreciated the citizens who are supporting by volunteering and raising funds.
Freeman f. Martin, Director Texas Department Of Public Safety says the department will not stop until every one is found.
Major Gen. Thomas Suelzer, Adjutant General of Texas. Says evacuation is on and there are more, helicopter for this, more rescue and support raised to spread the search and help those in need. He said the national guard will not leave until every person is found.

Some say the warning alarm was not sent early by the governor.
However, the argument is that some campers had their phones off, because of the time of the night. As many do not sleep with their phones on. Could this be a valid reason why the flood seem to have taken the people unawares?

My heart goes out to the people of Texas and the grieving families, campers who met their end in the unfortunate incident.
