That kind of scam has been around for a long time. I actually received one on my Facebook account before, and I even clicked the link.
If I remember correctly, I ended up changing my Facebook password right after. Lesson learned on my part, never click links from strangers. Scams are everywhere, and once you fall for it, regret usually comes right after.
Luckily you realized it quickly, otherwise you would have deeply regretted your careless action of clicking the link. This type of scam is very common, I have even experienced these traps sent via email, social media and even WhatsApp private messages. Luckily I managed to identify the scam and then ignored it and blocked the contact.
It requires awareness and deeper analysis to avoid becoming a victim of phishing attacks, even though at first it looks very promising and offers big profits, but remember there is no free lunch given without expecting anything in return.
