I am giving the advice because the chances of getting addicted are higher for someone who plays every game in a casino than for someone who plays a particular game. There is no study to support this, just my assumptions.

It should be the other way round because you get addicted to something you do repeatedly. Assuming you play multiple games there should be less chance of you getting addicted to one but when it's only one game that you play all the time, you're definitely going to get addicted and it's just a matter of time before the addiction becomes uncontrollable. This can defer though depending on the person we're talking about but I believe on a large scale, those that gamble on one particular type of games are the ones that get addicted more.
You know that someone can also get addicted to trying many things; that is an addiction of not taking to one option. That can also be a problem.

I would like to use womanizing as a close example to gambling because it falls under habits to be avoided. Your decision to not stick to one woman may be a huge financial mistake. The same thing goes for your decision to not stick to one game; it can also be a huge financial mistake because you will need a bigger gambling budget to be able to play all the games.

What do you think?
I think it comes down to how much time you spend playing and not necessarily how many games you play. If you are mentally strong enough, it's not going to matter if you play only one game or experiment with a few different ones.
This is true.
