You can't be surprised there are scammers and imposters on Telegram. It's very easy to change your username into something that looks like something else. It's almost as if it's designed to facilitate scamming.
I wouldn't be surprised if the owner had that in mind and that regardless of all the constructive criticism, he still refuses to introduce some changes that would make it impossible for his app to be a paradise for scammers.
@God Of Thunder, considering the work you do, wouldn't it be logical to try to switch your communications to another app? I won't name any, but there are several that are far better and more private than Telegram. You are right Lucius I think the best thing @God Of Thunder should do is change to another communication app that is more safe and private, we have recorded a lot of scam activities coming from telegram and just like LoyceV said that It's almost as if it's designed to facilitate scamming, and his correct because the level of scam activities happening there is just too much, when you get a message from telegram about anything related to money what comes to your mind is scam activity and for an app like that someone that is doing the kind of job that desire trust from people should switch to a better app.
@God Of Thunder from your explanation you pointed out they have been doing this, and and I believe they won't stop, even now that you have posted your only 2 telegram account link those scammers will still look for a way to make there own similar with yours and some of your clients and those that trust your judgement may fall victim one day, so like Lucius advised switch your communications to another app, this will safe you from a lot in the future.
