i just found out Iceriver.eu has a new miner coming out and it's called the AE2 and it's built for mining Aleo. The numbers look solid:
- Hashrate: 72 MH/s
- Power Use: Around 1300W
- Efficiency: About 1.8 J/MH
- Noise: Fairly quiet, could even work in a home setup
They say shipping starts mid to late July. What caught my attention is that it's more powerful than the AE1 Lite but still uses much less power than most heavy-duty miners.
I'm thinking of getting one, but wanted to ask:
- Has anyone pre-ordered or seen this is action yet?
- Do you think it's a good choice for Aleo mining this year?
- Would you run this at home or go with hosting?
Would love to hear what you all think. Is the AE2 something worth jumping on in 2025?
