Takashi Tashiro, the new CEO of Tokyo-based energy company Remixpoint, will be paid in Bitcoin as part of stated efforts to be “in the same boat” as shareholders, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Japanese companies tend to be good with trend adaptation.

In 2017, one Japanese company paid salary in bitcoin. It's GMO and remember that in 2017, 8 years ago the Bitcoin adoption was considerable less than now.

Paying salary in bitcoin has positive and negative effects. If the staffs want to invest in bitcoin, plan to hold bitcoin for a long time, it's good because they will not  have to spend fees on exchanges from trading fees to withdrawal fees. The negative effect is price change and they can see value of received salary payment changes a lot after a day, few days or couple of weeks or months.
