Honestly the performance of Chelsea shocked me, it was like the other games was a rehearsal for last night. They really executed their plans excellently, Fluminense wasn’t bad either they were just outplayed by Chelsea. The controversial penalty aside I think Chelsea deserved their victory. It’s like they get better with each game, the FIFA Club World Cup has given them an opportunity to prepare for the premier league… there’s no perfect preseason than this lol. I believe if they continue on this form they’re gonna be title contenders for the EPL. Even this final is no longer sure as Chelsea are always formidable in a final, it’ll be difficult to predict on who wins.
They have been decent all season long, not really that shocking that they are doing fine again. Think about it this way, Chelsea would the conference league, finished fourth at league to go to UCL next season, and now finalist of club world cup.
As you can see, they have been quite good and not going to be shocked that we are going to end up with anything that is a shocker at the moment, it's literally their year, they have been great. Palmer on the other hand, looked to be one of the best players in premier league for like a month or two, and has been not so great since. He is looking good again, so that is a great comeback, lets hope he does well. Chelsea doesn't have a chance to win if you ask me, they will lose at the final game, but at least they got here.
