i saw a post here once asking about whether banning gambling will actually solve some problems. well even with gambling deemed illegal, it has not completely disappeared from a country. for example, in north korea gambling is illegal for its citizens.

but there are still gambling events that take place most often organized by some authorities or really rich and powerful people. i guess that making gambling illegal is just a way to make it less accessible to the general public but the rich always finds a way.

there was even a case where north koreans are targeting foreigners and selling them their own made gambling platforms. North Korean IT workers created and sold thousands of illegal gambling websites to South Korean criminals to raise billions of dollars

keep in mind that gambling is also illegal in south korea. so my point is, everyone eventually finds a way.
As long there's those people who are behind with those doings specially to those who are financially capable and having those connection into those upper positions or simply with the government then there's always the possibility with these kind of things on which they can be able to deal on with it without having any issues since they've been neither protected or just simply being ignored because they dont want any trouble or making up some ruckus on which it could be leading up into those more bigger problematic conditions. There's always those exploits despite of the bans being set out on which just like been said that those rich people would be finding out some ways for them to make even more money even if it means that they would be needing up to go against countries laws and regulations just because they do want to implement out on whats running inside of their minds.
