Should we always call Arsenal always ended up at second place like three season a mistake ? I don't see it as a mistake because I don’t think Arsenal could have performed any better than they have over the past three seasons. Arsenal simply didn't have the squad to win the Premier League, which is why they’ve been struggling to win it. Even with their efforts, they still ended up in second place.

It is true that last season Manchester City wasn’t in great form, but Liverpool was in excellent form, so it was a challenge for Arsenal to win the league. What has really been affecting Arsenal is that they don’t have adequate replacements for their key players. Once one or two of their star players are injured, they begin to lose form, and that has been their issue over the past three seasons.

If Arsenal is able to sign the players they are aiming for, even if Manchester City is in form, it is still possible for Arsenal to win the league. The reason why Manchester City has been dominating the Premier League is because other teams, including Arsenal, haven’t had squads as strong as theirs. But currently, both Liverpool and Arsenal are making serious efforts to sign great players, so they can strengthen their squads. Arteta is a great coach, and if he is able to sign the necessary players, Arsenal's squad could be as strong as Manchester City.

We cannot consider it a mistake to finish second for three straight seasons in a row, but I expect them to learn from their mistakes and buy more players at the start of the season before finishing for the third time. If Arteta realizes their faults at the start of the season and buys top players to improve their performance, they can still win the league even if they focus on the Champions League.

That is the main problem that is affecting Arsenal, they are unable to find good players, and when one or two of their key players are injured, they suffer for the rest of the season. Last season, when Saka was out for a few months, we noticed how much it affected their games, the attackers were weak, and they lacked someone who could press an opponents defender as they do when Saka is fit.

However, when it comes to recruiting players, Arsenal always prefers midfielders, perhaps they don't have issues in other positions. Arsenal is considering signing Madueke, in my opinion I don't think it's necessary with his performance at Chelsea. Signing Gyøkeres as a striker would be a better option, but he must show that he can do well in the Premier League too.
