AIs have some skill based on how they are developed, but we are always overrating it if you ask me. They can only give close predictions on how a game is going to end based on the past event, formation and all available data concerning the game which they have; they can't predict the future; they can only make a gesture.

In a sport event like a match, the outcome can be affected by many things which we don't have an idea of even before the game starts. AI can get some things correct and some incorrect, just as we humans make our predictions right and sometimes wrong too.
