Has anyone else noticed that these days, having a university degree does not seem to guarantee a good job anymore? In the US, more than 40% of new graduates are working in jobs that don’t even need a degree! In the UK and Canada, youth unemployment is even higher, and entry-level jobs are much harder to get. Now, for each job, there are more than 100 people applying

A lot of people blame technology (especially AI, robots and automation) for stealing jobs. But the truth is more complicated. Companies are using AI to get rid of simple tasks, yes, but they’re also sending jobs to cheaper countries. And when there are jobs, many companies do not care about your university name anymore. They want to see if you really have the skills or special training for that job. That means people have to pay even more to get extra “certificates” after graduating

Am I University graduate? Yes, do I like it? Yes, do I have the job of what I studied in the University? No but does that justify University a bad place to go? Absolutely no. I will send my children to go to school and they must be a graduate and that wouldn't affect anything they want to do in life. You can be what you want but yea you must pass through that four walls of the university because no matter how you want to make it sound, the university remains the best.

My failure to pose what I have always dream about is not about University in general, if I have graduated from one particular countries that has high number of employment, I'm very sure I will be among people who will be having a well to do job like other people.
You know we are always trying to blame University but the thing around us, who do we really think built them? Its people that went through the four walls of Universities and college, you can rise to wealth without any education. You need that walls to be good outside and be able to beat the system.
