You don't need to run a complete Bitcoin node, a pruned node can run in a 2GB Ram laptop.
It got to my knowledge recently that downloading the full bitcoin node (latest version) will take more than 600 gigabytes which means it requires enough data subscription to download and run it completely and it will still get to a time when it will take more than 1 terabyte to download the full bitcoin node which will even make it more difficult. Except those that uses unlimited data subscription that will still be running a bitcoin node otherwise in the future, not many people will be running a bitcoin node again.
I'm running a pruned node and my data subscription has been more than 250 Gigabyte already, since i use MTN router i buy unlimited bundle of 30K for 150 Gigabyte. Unlimited isn't unlimited, same thinking when i started mine but it comes in amount, heard that Starlink is the only internet service that gives the real unlimited but cost a lot to set up.
Completing a full node and running a pruned node takes the same amount of data subscription, full nodes downloads and stores complete blocks while pruned node takes and store blocks according to the size of pruning.
