Even mining fees would hurt them, right now the fee is just 50 cents, for us it doesn't matter because we move more than $100. But if we use Average Joe in Burundi as the example, it's 4% of their monthly income. Can you lose 4% of your monthly income just for paying Bitcoin fees?

If they want to invest in Bitcoin, they high likely will end up in centralized exchanges.
