Yeah, I had similar expectations — I thought we were in for a close battle, but it turned out completely different. PSG absolutely destroyed Real Madrid. By halftime, it was clear Madrid had neither the pace nor the structure in defense to deal with them. What impressed me most was how PSG kept the ball and kept attacking even after going ahead. Real looked lost and out of ideas.
This semifinal didn’t feel like a clash of equals — it felt like a showcase of dominance. PSG played with confidence and ease, like it wasn’t Real Madrid on the other side, but some mid-table team. Even without Mbappé, they looked incredibly strong, and Enrique deserves massive credit for that. For me, PSG are now the clear favourites to win the final. If they play anything like this again, the title is theirs.
PSG do turn any club that clashes with them as the underdogs. Only Botafogo was able to disorganize PSG strategy and attacking force to the point that they defeated PSG. Apart from them, I haven't seen any European clyb that have won them since the knockout stage of the Champions League. What an awesome performance from PSG in the semifinals.
