I have not seen any case of gambling addiction seen from the angle of being spiritual motivated. It's just like other types of addiction like drugs, alcohol and others. It is best viewed from  from the angle of poor mentality than any other thing. It is poor mentality that leads to greed, desperation and all negative things that manifest as gambling addiction.

This makes more sense, i agree with you. In this context, those who are addicted to gambling are more mental than spiritual, greed that can never be controlled so they always feel insufficient when they win, thinking they can get more without realizing it is a greed that leads to destruction.

I think that gamblers who believe that the spiritual side of life influences gambling and winning results appear after they start trying to predict their winnings. And when one of them actually wins, he connects these two events and begins to think that it really works. That the spiritual side of life is an influential part of gambling. And that this way you can also control the outcome of the game.

They assume they got their wins based on spirituality forgetting that there's a luck factor. Gambling is a game of luck and on a regular basis some people are being decieved especially people in Africa, they are the ones that believe in spirituality more. Don't get me wrong, spiritual things exists but not in the way most people believe. In my country people are now getting fooled and scammed with this whole thing
It is definitely ignorance to associate gambling with spirituality. Gambling generally depends on a person's own action. If he is greedy and addicted, then he will lose. And if he can gamble under his own control, then addiction or greed will not have much effect on him. There is luck in gambling, but many consider this luck as spirituality. Now those who have little idea about gambling can think of many things. But the reality is that if someone can manage gambling under his own control and not be affected by greed, then he can manage gambling properly. Although luck plays an important role in gambling, there is no spiritual power in it.
True I agree that it's due to ignorance that anyone can relate spirituality to gambling spiritual things are for the soul and the gambling is a physical thing that involves the body so there's no link between the two infact I don't even think that anyone who is truly spiritual will even gamble at the first place
