I've experienced a lot of mess up with my trades and in the end, I've just learned one effective strategy which is mentioned by everyone. That is to simply HODL and accumulate (DCA).
But, to simply HODL is already investing and not trading anymore, although no doubt that it is much easier or the success rate for it is high. There might be just people that are not built for trading. Like you for example, you already proved it by making so many mistakes. That is not normal anymore and continuing can only lead for more losses and a collapse of emotions.
A trader can do HODLing while doing it until they realize that they need to shift into it because it's less pressure than trading.
You'll never go wrong with this strategy and even you add up some other technicalities of it as long as the choice you've picked is a good and definitely start it out with BTC. You'll even beat the majority of the traders who have been in spot and in the futures. Believe us, you'll be more fruitful and productive on it but no one stops you for learning more strategies that might click to your risk assertions.
Remember, we switch from trading to this as it is less stressful, so why still add for other technicalities? Hehe. Although there are versatile users that does both trading & investing and they can do a lot of experiments to maximize their profit potential.
The other traders who have shifted to it, won't probably just stop. So, while they have a portfolio that's good for holding, they want to continue their trading journey because they are an aspiring one. And so, that's why they have to know some other technicalities until they just want to stick to one plan at all and that's holding.
