I cant believe Mateo Retegui acept the offer from this league, i mean he is so young he comes from being the top scorer of SerieA, Atalanta makes a good shot and for sure in economic terms for him is also a super good deal, but you are risking your whole career, for me he needs tos tay in europe, the only good thing about this for him is maybe if he maintain his level can come back to europe later with a ton of money in his bag.
Yes, anything can happen in the world of football, especially with money behind it all. So I'm not surprised that Retegui actually agreed to join the Saudi Arabian league. He was offered a high salary, which would certainly improve his financial situation. So it's understandable that he chose the Saudi Arabian league, despite the inherent risks. As we know, if Retegui plays in the Saudi Arabian league, he may have difficulty rejoining European teams. But I'm sure Retegui has carefully considered all of this if he actually joins Al Qadisiyah. Basically, if Retegui plays for just two seasons in the Saudi Arabian league, it will certainly make him rich. So for now, Retegui is probably considering that.
Perhaps if he starts to feel satisfied with his earnings in the Saudi Arabian League, there's a chance he could return to Europe. He's still young, and if he plays two seasons in the Saudi Arabian League, he certainly won't lose his appeal. Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian League is very competitive right now, so with that in mind, I think Retegui would still be great even if he played in the Saudi Arabian League. However, as of now, I haven't seen any official news about Retegui's move to Al Qadisiyah, so it's possible that it won't happen. Until there's an official announcement regarding this, I don't think anything can be fully confirmed about Retegui.
