I came across news that there’s a senator pushing to ban gambling in our country.
So I’d like to ask fellow gamblers here, do you think this move is justified? Or is it too harsh?
We all know that gambling is addictive by nature. No matter our financial status, anyone can fall into addiction. But is banning it entirely really the only solution?
And what could be the possible consequences if gambling were banned in a country? Can you share some thoughts or examples?
Let’s have an open discussion ...
Anyone can fall into addiction whether they are rich or not, but what if the youths in your country are becoming lazy and all they do is waste their youths away in gambling? I will also love to know what you will do if you are the governor of such state.
As a leader putting a ban on gambling will surely be the first step, I know it may not be that very effective because of VPN and other but its a step, regulation might come right after so don't just say that banning isn't a solution, its part of the solution.
Its just like drugs addiction, if the rate is very alarming in a state it will get to the attention of your leaders, they will have to put ban on drugs and hunt down the selling of drugs in the streets of the state in a more effective way than before.
