I'm not comfortable and agree with your interpretation that I don't like the other smartcards like Satochip. I said, I don't have a use case for them for me personally and as wallets they lack a crucial and in my opinion mandatory own independent display that can't be manipulated by a host device. I'm ok though, if we still disagree. That's life.
That's just what I gathered based on your posts here. Not having a use case for something is pretty similar to not liking something. My personal opinion, of course. You don't have to hate it, you just don't find it as good as the solutions you use personally. If you did, you would likely find a use case for smartcards.
Some negative points you mentioned so far is the material. You don't like that it's plastic and not fire-resistant. Probably not water and acid-resistant either. For the cards to function, you need an app and additional hardware, and even a mobile phone. You want your hardware wallets/signers to have their own displays for transaction verification, something that is not the case with smartcards. These are all points you mentioned, making me think that this solution is not for you.
