Chelsea chances of winning the Club World Cup trophy are very wide open, but it must be admitted that PSG are heavy favorites. I don't mean to underestimate Chelsea, but anyone can see how toughness PSG are right now, they slaughtered Real Madrid like a mediocre team.
Chelsea still needs more improvement to match PSG, the performance during semi final can't give them trophy favorite, after scoring first goal they became relaxed and jokey. Another issue will be from the coach when he fails to start his first team or decides to set players off position. In as much Chelsea don't stand a chance, i expect them to give a brief outstanding performance during the final at least as opportuned to qualify for the final, i don't want a similar result as PSG vs Inter in the Champions League final.
If Paris Saint-Germain achieves a similar result in this final against Inter, every team in Europe should be afraid of them. Everyone was surprised when they eliminated Liverpool because they were leading the Premier League and playing very well. Paris Saint-Germain eliminated them and began their quest for the cup. In fact, they eliminated their toughest opponents from the tournament early. The remaining teams weren't as strong as Paris Saint-Germain. I don't know what would have happened if Paris Saint-Germain had faced Barcelona in the final, but they played exceptionally well against Inter and secured a decisive victory. They could do the same against Chelsea. Therefore, Chelsea must work to their best defensive system.
