  • Cost of internet subscription -
This is essentially the primary constraint that I faced, and I think most people will face in running one. Since the increment of internet subscription, getting affordable/cheap plans has been quite difficult. Though, I was able to navigate my way through, but the navigation wasn't an easy one either.
You explained other stages clearly except this one. How did you navigate your way and finished the node because this seems to be the most challenging one, unless you got access to a free sharing.

How much did it cost you to buy the subscription from day one to the last day?

As at 2 years ago, you will need like 380 gigabyte to download the full bitcoin blockchain. I guess it will be more than 400 gigabyte by now. Also after you finish downloading it, you will still need data to receive information from other nodes and also data needed to route the information to other nodes which will consume significant amount of data in gigabyte daily.
The minimum gigabyte you will spend to run a node now is nothing less than 700 gigabyte but I know it cost more than that, and that is if you are running a prune node with set up "prune=450 (the minumum prunning).

The best data plan you can go for if you are using MTN is a year subscription.
From which internet provider, because the price of purchasing yearly subscription depends on the provider.
MTN offers different services, if you have an MTN broadband router 4G or the 5G broadband router. The 4G cost about N50,000 and above while the 5G is around N150,000 plus sim registration now. Currently I am using the 5G router and it offers an capped/unlimited data plan called the Hynetflex plan.

1. 30K for 150GB monthly
2. 45K for 260GB monthly
3. 250K for 1.5TB monthly
