Gambling addiction is not the only problem associated with gambling activity and gamblers in your country, if a senate should start making an initiative first then it shows the government is in support. Reasons should be outlined why gambling is bad or banning gambling permanently, we all know gamblers struggle with addiction but it’s a general problem and if your government decides to take action it’s actually not bad but the fact ban is seen as an option. Asking if banning gambling will solve any problem hell no rather jobless citizens will find another means of addiction except they create something meaningful then educate citizens on addiction.

Hmmm. They should consider that too. It's like what happened during the pandemic. Many people became jobless because of the contact rule, and the gambling industry was one that was greatly affected because of its way of doing business.
It's true that many people could lose their jobs if gambling is banned in one country, but if there's a high percentage of people getting addicted to gambling, then I think it's also best if it can be regulated. They cannot just let their citizens become poor and let these businesses take all the money. It will become a bigger problem for the economy of one country.
