Here is some good news for Fenerbahçe fans...
Asensio was a quite promising player when he was young. But he couldn't meet the expectations exactly honestly... His real downfall happened after joining PSG where he couldn't find much chance to play.
He is still a skilled player of course. But I doubt he deserves such a high salary. He makes 14.5 million euros a year at PSG and now he is still expected to earn 10+ million at Fenerbahçe.
It's been long i heard of that name Asensio, i used to know the attacking midfielder in his days at Real Madrid before he started moving from one loan to the other. In recent years he has moved from Real Madrid to PSG, from PSG to Aston Villa, from Aston Villa back to PSG and i think currently his loan has terminated at PSG which is the reason why he wants to join Fenerbahce. The Turkish league has been attracting players from the European Leagues and i can see that they are trying to make the league to come alive which is not a bad idea. I haven't really followed up with Asensio's statistics and what made him not to be visible at PSG but some of these players performs better when they move to other clubs so it will sure be an exciting news for Fenerbahce, i know that Jose Mourinho could be the brain behind his signing, hope he performs better.
