I'm sure it will survive.

Many "losers" aka middle class and below mostly spend their time on social medias because they don't have enough money for entertainment and lazy, scrolling and watching videos on cell phones are cheap and effortless.

But, even though this niche can survive, only few content creators can survive from the beginning to present because content creators mostly depends on hype/trend/algorithm.

It's not just lazy people scrolling for entertainment though. People follow for others that teach tricks and skills of woodworking, leathercraft, stretching, history of language and anything imaginable. There are ton of educational videos on assembling, fixing and building basically anything, and ton of that stuff is free.

Some people take advantage of that free education. So naturally some people are being followed for a good reason. Before internet, just finding a course about something specific would be hard. And i don't think it's just few creators that will survive, because while most of them don't, that field will only grow in every sector, including the entertainment.
