Good point, change is everywhere and without luck's permit the chance of winning is too slim, though there are times that strategy may work and if the timing is right you may be able to make money out of it
Yes, winning happens when someone's luck supports him/her, even if someone's strategy is weak but luck is good, that person still has higher chance of winning. In trading strategies work pretty well, and in that area luck doesn't play much role, while in gambling someone's luck is far more important than any strategy.

Yes, that means luck far outweighs everything else, especially in gambling and casino games. As you said, even if a gambler has an ineffective strategy, especially when betting on a sporting event, if luck strikes, they're still guaranteed to win. On the other hand, you're also right that while trading and gambling are often equated, the way to profit is actually different. Trading relies more on skill, while gambling relies more on luck, and that can never be learned.
Gambling is a game of probability, so I think it's pointless to try so hard to learn various strategies if ultimately, your victory depends on luck.
