Apart from faucets being gone, there are no more giveaways either. I remember back when I started with bitcoin (2015-16) the Doge community on reddit was very active and they were regularly giving away free Dogecoins to users almost daily.
A couple of months ago I tried getting my hands on some free Doge to test some trading ideas I had and I couldn't find anything which was disappointing.
Giveaways make only sense for coins which don't have real community, and they are probably coming back at some point. But whole space is so saturated that i don't think that most of us even hear about some low cap giveaways, and since they can be worth less then a transaction cost, no one is interested about them either. And they can't give away too much because it's mostly added to sell pressure.
Everyone knows about bitcoin, so it doesn't need giveaways to advertise. Especially with price trajectory like this people rather hodl everything they have.
