Do you think seeing no gambling, hearing no gambling, and talking no gambling, not even a mention of a gambling site, will decrease addiction? Is it a good resolution?
The picture you attached to your post showing those big billboard about casinos raised a lot of concerns just like many uncensored gambling advertisements. In those adverts, they make gambling appear so easy and like a short cut to wealth and will hardly add any disclaimer to them. This is the major source of gambling addiction. Therefore, government is right to intervene in this matter before it ruined the lives of young people who are not up to gambling age but are being enticed by those dollars displayed by those hot celebrities.
Government would be only trying out to make those actions if they would be able to get that tons of complains in regarding gambling addiction but come to think that they are also the ones who do allow up for these kind of businesses to post up on billboards or having those kind of advertising. There would be always those regulatory board on whose that responsible for those kind of ads or showing up those things on television on which if it turned out to be inappropriate then this is where they should be that having that involvement. On the time that government wont be getting any reactions or complaints about it then they would be just that simply letting it be and just been said that this business highly generate that revenue on which means that tax is much more bigger too, but in exchange it will be having that tons of people who do have ending up on getting addicted due to gambling. They will be needing to act accordingly to avoid or prevent that much more bigger problems in the future specially that this do involves that higher numbers of addicted citizens on such location.
Government rules and regulations have always been that be focused into its citizens safety from harm and they are the ones who do set out those laws for it to be followed and its understandable that gambling shouldnt be tolerated. They might not actually be able to ban it out because these business can still run and operate without having those kind of ways of marketing. Here in our country it isnt banned or regulated but there would be certain restrictions that has been set on which if they would be going past beyond those limits then we do know on whats next into that. In regarding about influence then its normal that whenever you do see those billboards then it will be affecting your own view towards it and since those are that highly catchy and could cause up that curiosity specially into those newbie ones then it will be creating out that kind of impact on which it will be causing up for them to play and testing out.
