If your government removes gambling billboards, TV adverts and social media influencers from promoting gambling it will not totally eradicate it. So far they cannot eradicate gambling memory from gamblers minds in the country they'll still gamble without seeing any adverts. The move can work for people who're not already gamblers because they won't sight anything that will entice them to want to gamble. It is not enough to remove every gambling adverts they should also educate their people about the dangers of irresponsible gambling that can lead to addiction.
