The US has a lifestyle similar to Europe, so it was easy for Messi and his family to get used to the culture. Saudi Arabia has a difficult or let me say strange lifestyle. It might be difficult for Messi and his family to get used to it.

But Cristiano Ronaldo and his family could enjoy the Saudi society, and Messi might be able to cope. The government had to relax some of its laws to make the Portuguese comfortable. Maybe Messi might change his mind in the future.
[/quote]Not every one will play in the Saudi league I think that it's a matter of choice that Messi went to play in the United States of America and not necessarily because of the life fe style of the Saudi society one thing that you have to know is that players like Messi are super rich and they are no longer moved by the money anymore.



Every society and people has it own culture and ways of doing things so if any player is to come to Saudi Arabia to play then that player has to obey the laws that governs the Saudi society as for Messi I don't see the need for Messi to play in the Saudi league before his retirement it's not compulsory to do  so
