I hope so. He has been so talented as a winger, but wondering none of big clubs wanted him. His move to the Newcastle is the best. Interestingly he becomes the second most expensive signiings by Newcastle. I can't wait to see his debut on his new club. Props to the newcastle's talent recruiter.
If you are wondering why no big team tried to sign Elanga after leaving Manchester United then you haven't noticed unofficial tradition of how top teams avoid signing players that couldn't excel in any big team, they assume that they are not up to standards and can't offer anything. Any player that fails to excel in a big team find it difficult to get offers from other big teams, only those who have proven themselves before but dropped in form for some reasons are being considered sometimes.
Anthony Elanga was an ambitious player at Manchester United but didn't really do much for them so his full ability was not known and can't be regarded as a big team player that's why but after proving himself last season Newcastle had interest and went for him but I don't think he will get offers from the top teams.
