It could be that the Philippines government ain't getting enough revenue from the gambling industry, hence why they even think to be stricter than before.
I read a post here sometime back that meant to put a spotlight gambling activities in prisons. To think of it, a prison where there ain't influencers nor billboards, yet inmates still find a way to Gamble away their resources all while being discreet from guards and snitches.
I just feel such stricter new implemented regulations concerning gambling by the government is just like tying a bandage over an already rotten surface. It could only do as much good because the Internet has made the world one small community with online tools that can aid gamblers to still participate online and without those around knowing about it.
