Seems like an underground gambling den gone wrong?

It shows how risky such events are to organise for the organisers are always looking to make money from the game and they will try to include things that are beyond their control. Usually this leads to problem and sometimes the outcomes are in blood.

But I dont see how relevant this is to gambling. More of an organized crime.
No sir. Its legal, the company that was accused has permit by the Government to operate. Its like a live event and the users bet on the app to win. The problem here are the organizers caught some mananabong(users who take care of the live event) cheating and doing some malicious on betting that makes favor them and let them earn. Of course the organizers a pissed with what they did so they kill them silently and throw off on a Lake. This is a horrible event on gambling industry.

That's also what I understand about this, those people who went missing are part of the business if not all most of them, a legit gambling business that have permits to operate, the thing here is the known owner of this gambling business noticed that something is not right with how those missing people perform their role, they are doing things that favor them and collecting decent amount of money out from the house, sad to say it cost them their lives and now being revealed.
