If the cause of the problem has already been identified to have resulted from promotions and ads that are done by celebrities and influencers, then the government should just ban those celebrities from running ads for those casinos instead of banning gambling. What I think right now is that, banning gambling will force gamblers to look for other possible means to continue gambling and yet the revenue income will not go to the country. There are many countries that has not banned gambling and the level of addiction some of those countries are on the rise but yet the government did not ban gambling. If gambling is banned, a lot of desperate gamblers will  do everything possible to gamble.
